Description

Our In-Line Leak Indicator can tell you in seconds if you have leaks in your system and how big those leaks are, no matter what gas source you use. This In-Line Leak Indicator is easy to install and comes with compression fittings to replace the fittings on the gas inlets. These can be fitted with our standard hose barb sizes: 1/4", 5/16", or 3/8".

MV098 In Line Leak Indicator Installation Instructions (ILLI)

Remove vinyl caps from stand pipes and slide into female compression fittings that are installed on the McDantim Trumix® panel.
Tighten the compression fittings finger tight to hold the ILLI in place and screw mounting bracket securely to the wall.
Re-check that fittings are finger tight and then turn both compression fitting hex nuts another three quarters of a turn (14 mm size).
Once the ILLI is installed, hook up the inlet gases to the installed hose barbs and bring the panel up to pressure with the outlet ball valves closed.

Note: At this point you should not see any leaks by referencing the indicator, if you do see a leak you may need to tighten the compression fittings further.
