2 Gas – 5 Blend Model

Purpose of Equipment

The ARC Institute In-vivo Hypoxia gas mixing panel is designed to provide five user-selectable O2/N2 blends to any one of four panel outlets. Each of the four outlets can be independently configured for the desired blend, discharge pressure and flowrate.

Available Blends

  • 8%    O2 / BAL N2
  • 11% O2 / BAL N2
  • 21% O2 / BAL N2
  • 50% O2 / BAL N2
  • 80% O2 / BAL N2

Outlet pressures for each of the four lines can be individually adjusted from 0 – 15 psig.

Outlet flows for each of the four lines can be individually adjusted from 0 – 20 SLM.

Intended Use

The ARC Institute In-vivo Hypoxia gas mixing panel was designed to provide steady O2 / N2 mixtures to up to four separate environmental chambers.

 The selected O2 / N2 blends can be supplied indefinitely if sufficient O2 and N2 supplies are fed to the mixing panel at the design inlet pressure of 55 psig.

 Each of the four blended gas outlets on the panel can be operated independently.
