Our Trumix® 300 scfh panel now has a two-blend option, perfect for small weld shops! This panel reduces the need for premixed cylinders, as well as the time spent moving cylinders to switch processes. The standard inlet pressure is 120 psi, but can be customized depending on your or your customer’s needs.
McDantim recommends coalescing filters for each pure gas inlet. If filters are added at the time of panel purchase, McDantim adds a year to the panel’s original limited warranty.
Our panels are calibrated on a lab-grade mass spectrometer, ensuring the highest accuracy throughout the flow range. Each blender, regardless of its capacity, is guaranteed to maintain an accuracy of +/- 10% of the minor component or 2% full scale from 2 scfh to the panel’s maximum flow rate.
They can be mounted directly on an interior wall and plumbed in place. Additional customizable accessories include gas blend analyzers and flow alarms. If you or your customer needs a

Selecting a blend for your shield gas depends on your material and welding process. Having the correct blend for your shielding gas helps increase the penetration of the welds, reduces the number of defects in the welds, and helps block out any of the naturally occurring gases in the atmosphere like Nitrogen and Oxygen.
Common welding materials include mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and cast iron which all can benefit from mixed gas. The most used gases are Carbon Dioxide and Argon, but we’ve also seen mixtures with Helium, Hydron, or Oxygen in small percentages to increase the heat and penetration of the welds. We’ve built thousands of industrial blenders, specifically for welding, with a variety of gases and blends. Our panels can work with any application, whether you are using MIG/MAG, TIG, Arc, or laser.
While our Trumix® panels don’t require a storage tank to operate or mix gases to your required blend, sometimes it’s best for the life of the panel and the application to have a storage tank.
Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) uses mixed gas to adjust the atmosphere either in a full space or in bursts to fill packages, extending the shelf life of certain foods. With burst filling, we recommend adding a surge or buffer tank with your Trumix® panel.
