The Acceptable Ranges screen will show you (highlighted in blue) the combinations of Blend and Pressure that will keep your beverage properly carbonated. A +/- 0.2% range of CO2 volumes is the accepted industry allowance for this variation. These results are based on values you enter into the “input” screen and will change as you modify input values.

The values generated by these programs represent our best effort to be accurate. Calculated gas blends are accurate within 1% and vol./vol. values match existing charts within 0.05 vols. or less. Changes due to ABV are the least understood and most likely to be in error at extreme values.
These calculators are intended to be used within the range of typical temperatures, pressures, and alcohol content found in the draught beer industry today. Extreme examples will most likely give less accurate results.
