Find the correct gas blend or pressure for your draught beverage system.

Our gas blend calculators generate values that will deliver gas blend accuracy and are intended to be used within the range of typical temperatures, pressures, and alcohol content found in the draught beer industry today. Changes due to ABV and extreme values will likely produce less accurate results. Calculated gas blends are accurate within 1% and v/vol. values match existing charts within 0.05 vols. or less.

Conditions included in the calculations:

  • Gas blend of existing Blender (% CO2)

Your input conditions determine:

  • Perfect CO2/N2 blend for your specific location and conditions
  • Range of pressures you can apply to your beverages and maintain perfect carbonation
  • Conversions between US and Metric units
  • CO2 content that will be maintained under unusual conditions, such as high elevation
  • Gas blend of existing Blender (% CO2)

The Acceptable Ranges screen will show you the combinations of Blend and Pressure that will keep your beverage properly carbonated (highlighted in blue). A +/- 0.2% range of CO2 volumes is the accepted industry allowance for this variation. These results are based on values you enter on the “input” screen and will change as you modify input values.
